Welcome to us in adult psychiatry! You are looking for a varied job where it never gets boring!

We are now looking for a medical secretary for the general psychiatric department in Skövde.

The position is a temporary contract lasting until April 2027. The department is part of the psychiatric services within Skaraborg Hospital.

You will work in modern facilities that are specially designed for psychiatric care and aimed at creating safety and comfort for both patients and staff.

Responsibilities

As a medical secretary with us, you will have a varied and responsible job and be an important part of the daily operations. Your tasks will include:

• booking patient visits
• reception and mail work
• medical documentation
• telephone contact with patients and other partners
• other administrative tasks

We work in interdisciplinary teams where collaboration is a natural part of everyday life. Right now, we are undergoing a change process where we are reviewing our working methods to ensure quality and streamline operations, with the goal of creating a good work environment and clear, sustainable tasks for everyone.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• documented education as a medical secretary
• good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have experience with the medical systems Melior and Elvis.

As a person, you are meticulous, structured, flexible, and service-oriented. You have a good ability to work in various IT systems and enjoy collaborating with others. In our unit, we actively work with business development and continuous improvements, and we therefore value your contribution of engagement, ideas, and knowledge.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Other

When hiring for a position in psychiatry, we will request an extract from the suspicion and criminal record register. This request is handled by the employer.
